Let's talk about Sex!
Sex is full of choices.Like anything else, sex is full of choices. Why, what, when, where, and perhaps most importantly who, are often on the minds of members of all people when it comes to sex. So how can we sort through the questions and choices and get to the goods?
Sex is meant to be had when both parties are ready. Of course, you already know this, but readiness is about more than physical safety, it’s about emotions as well. The more mentally prepared both parties are to roll in the hay; the better that roll is going to be.
Sex is a privilege. We’ve all had endless lectures about the level of responsibility necessary to be a conscientious grade-A lover, but it’s more than a responsibility or a right—it’s a privilege! Following life’s rules can be monotonous, even annoying, but sex should remain fun. So keep it safe, keep it responsible, and then relax.
Sex is about partnership. Does it have to be about love or marriage? Not necessarily, but in order to ensure both party’s wants and needs are fulfilled, you must acknowledge the partnership. That acknowledgement can—and will—lead to a deeper fulfillment and a more complete experience.
As always, it comes down to 3 things: Be safe. Be respectful. Have fun.
